Gavin Francis has been a solicitor with Douros Lawyers since 2005.  He completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2001, after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Sydney.

Gavin has been admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW since 2002 and the High Court of Australia since 2004.

Gavin’s experience is primarily in the areas of general litigation, commercial litigation, bankruptcy & insolvency, and debt recovery.  He also practices in the areas of corporate law, property, banking & finance, Conveyancing and general contractual disputes.

Gavin’s current client base includes leasing companies, financial lenders, public companies, insolvency firms, and individuals.  He assists his clients by providing practical and realistic advice and commercial methods for a successful resolution to their wide and varied circumstances and needs.

Gavin is consistently involved with litigation proceedings in most states and territories throughout Australia, in all levels of the Court system. He specifically works within the NSW Local, District and Supreme Courts, along with the Federal and Federal Magistrates’ Courts.

Gavin has recently completed his Masters of Laws at the University of Sydney were he undertook several international law subjects, along with commercial and corporate law topics.

Gavin is a keen sportsman who regular participates in Soccer, Touch Football, Volleyball, Cycling and the occasional fun-run and triathlon.
